TUSIAB'S POINT OF VIEW TO AZERBAIJAN BY ECONOMICAL SIDE

The new independent countries, which were formed after the Soviet Union coming to end, they have opened their doors to the international capital for new investments. In the limitation of our relations with these countries, taking place in Eurasia and sharing the same language, same beliefs, and same culture and in the globalize world, the place of Turkey has increased even more. The Caucasus are taking two third of this geography and Azerbaijan is the country which is the "breath tube" of Middle Asia Turkish Republics. The unity of Azerbaijan with Turkey in every field is unavoidable after that. But the locomotive of this unity is economy.

In Azerbaijan which passed to free market economy from corroborative economy after getting its independence, negativeness lived at the beginning of revolution period has been exceeded and has been made important progresses on the aspects of gaining economic stabilization. In the country, which is full of natural resources, the prosperity had been increased, provided better conditions for work of our businessmen and started to be made new successes for our countries. Together with fast and wide comprehensive privatization programs, the reestablishing time is being continued from the beginning.

From the first date of getting its independence, Turkey has given big consideration to developing political, economical and to different relations for helping Azerbaijan to become a single whole with the world. Trying to transfer and share all experiences on this field with Azerbaijan which owned free market economy, There has been signed many bilateral agreements.

Signing "Agreement for Mutual Encouragement and Protection of Investments" and "Agreement For Preventing Double Taxing" on the 09.02.1994, and by coming in force after being confirmed by both parliaments, the legal structure aimed to commercial and economical affairs and relations between two countries has been completed and cooperation between two countries is continued up to now.

Because of having same cultural characteristics, for our businessmen wanting to open to outside, Azerbaijan is on the attractive market location. As the external commercial capacity gets wider between both countries, on the other side, on the extension of economic and commercial relations

Turkish businessmen truly began to commercial and production operations in Azerbaijan. Turkish entrepreneurs taking active place in Azerbaijan's economy took part in almost all fields, as telecommunication, bank and insurance, construction commitment, press - broadcast education, health, transportation, automotive, manufacturing, industry, oil and exc.

As it is known, after the meeting with the present Mr. Haydar Aliyev on 2002 may, important orders encouraging economical improvements had been signed and this shows the positive sides to economy.

As the result, nowadays when its being decided to realize Baku - Ceyhan pipe lines, there is a big obligations been put to our businessmen in Azerbaijan where it is being existed the proximity, language, religion, tradition and cultural unity
