FIELD HISTORY N.NARIMANOV
Ahmadov Sabuhi Fatulla oglu was born in Baki, in 1962. He attended the Oil and Chemistry Institute after M. Azizbayov from 1979 to 1984 on the speciality of mining engineer. Upon graduation he was employed by OGRM after Azizbayov, now re-named after Haci Zeynalabdin Tagiyev. He has worked as an operator on oil and gas recovery, master, manager of the field, in the management of the OGRM, Chief of the Production Maintenance Base, heade engineer of the OGRM (Oil and Gas Recovering Management).
He has worked chief of the OGRM after H. Z. Tagiyev in 1997-2003.
He was appointed chief of the OGRM after N. Narimanov on April 29, 2003.
He is a reserve officer, married, has three children.
The OGRM (oil and gas recovering management) is engaged in developing two oil fields. They are: Sangacal Deniz Duvanni Deniz, Xara - Zira island fields and the field after March 8.
Geological prospecting of the fields started before WWII (1941-1945), but the work was suspended during the war.
Deep drilling in the area started in 1951 and the initial oil gush was obtained in 1963 while testing the 7th horizon of the Prospecting Well 24 drilled on the northeastern part of the Duvanni Deniz slope. Daily output has been 250 tons. On the bases of it the field was extend in August 1964.
Lately intensive drill work is carried out not only in Duvanni Deniz area, but also in Sangacal Deniz and Xara-Zira are . As a result of this, 10 wells were drilled in 1966 in a short time, and this accelerated the development of the field and caused the commercial development of the productive layer of the 7th oil and gas horizon.
As the result of the prospecting carried out later in 1970s a gas condensate field was discovered in the 8th horizon and in 1974 an oil and gas condensate field was discovered in the 5th horizon. The oil and gas indications of the Field after March 8 were revealed in 1984 by putting the Well 566 into operation.
In order to operate intensively the fields the first stage of the bridge started to be built in 1967, while the construction of the second stage started in 1970. The bridges are connected with the shore by a dam. The general length of the bridge is 65 km. The length of the field is 33 km from northwest to southwest, while the width is from 2 to 8 km. The Field after March 8 is 6 km long and 4 km wide.
The 7th horizon rock mass is from 80 to 120 meters. The rock mass increases from north west to south west part and from the arch towards the wing.
The 5th horizon is both oil and gas saturated in the area of the 4th, 5th, 6th blocks. This horizon is a restitution object. Its rock mass is 100-150 meters. The average rock mass of the 7th and 8th horizons of March 8 field are respectively 105 and 65-70 meters.
Currently, the OGRM has 145 bridge-side grounds and 54 sea platforms in its balance.
693 wells finished to be drilled by July 1, 2003, and 530 of them were put into operation, including the 12 wells at March 8 field, where 8 wells have been put into operation.
The highest oil and condensate output was reached by the OGRM in 1975, which was 4,813,800 tons. The average daily output has been 13,182 tons. Maximum gas output was in 1978 in 3,347,700 mln c/m, while the daily output was 9,171 mln c/m.
From the very start of the development up today 71,665 mln tons of oil and condensate, and 64,154 mln c/m of gas has been extracted, and this is 84.5% and 79.7% of the recoverable reserve respectively.
At present 10 repair teams are functioning for the OGRM, and 3 of them are engaged for underground repairs and 7 with overhaul. Within 2003 they have carried out overhaul of 17 wells (under the plan of 18) and 230 wells were repaired underground. On this account 9 wells were put into operation against the plan of 1. This helped to produce 6,379 tons of oil, against the plan of 1,120 tons (+5,259 tons). Output Fund of the OGRM is 172 wells for the July 1,2003, including 161 oil and 11 gas condensate wells.
There are 152 wells in the operative Fund, and 10 of them are gas condensate wells.
9 out of 142 wells are functioning on X-mas tree method, while the remaining 133 wells function on gas-lift method. And this makes 93.7% of the operative Fund.
There are 19 wells in the idling well park, 18 of them were killed in the past ,while one was stopped this year. Average oil and gas condensate output in operative well Fund in June 2003 has been 750 tons, including 89 tons condensate, while the average gas output is just 1,474,000 c/m.
At present the operative Fund of the March 8 field consists of 5 wells, 3 gas and 2 oil ones. Daily output of the wells is 677,000 c/m of gas, 55 tons of condensate and 35 tons of oil.
The OGRM has output 135,780 tons of the oil and gas condensate from the beginning of the year and it is 30- tons more of the task. Gas production has been 266,638,000 c/m from the beginning of the year, and this is 162,000 c/m less of the task If compared with the result of the first half of the previous year's result we'll be able to see that 6,138,000 c/m of gas has been extracted.
The emloyees of the OGRM will do their best in future to multiply the achievements and to fulfil the 2nd half year task of this year without deficit.
