AZMETCO CAA ENTERS THE WORLD MARKETS
Joint-Stock Company Azmetco Complex Adjustment and Automation (CAA) is a specialized enterprise for technical maintenance of metering and telemechanic systems, oil & gas industry equipment and devices. The enterprise was created in 1975 to fulfill operations in the oil industry metering systems. The range of activity of "Azmetco CAA" JSC covered Azerbaijan and South Caucasian and Middle Asian regions.
In 1993, following Azerbaijan's independence, the enterprise entered the staff of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) as an independent base unit under the name of the "Department for Complex Adjustment and Automation" (DCAA). In 2001 after realization of the second Programme of State Property Privatization, the enterprise was privatized and reorganized into an open joint-stock company.
Compliance to the international and local standards in all kinds of services and works carried out by the enterprise is one of the major tasks of Azmetco. Azmetco maintains direct business relations with the world's leading companies producing oil metering equipment and devices such as Emerson, Jiskoot, Fisher Rosemount, Omni, De Flow, Faure Herman, FMC Energy Systems Smith Meter Inc., Solartron, Jordan Kent, Daniel, Artvik, Control Techniques.
This allows Azmetco to fulfill all the orders of the customers at the highest level in the shortest possible time. Maximum meeting of customers' requirements is one of the major tasks put before each employee.
Azmetco received the International Certificate ISO-9001 ¹ K-Y-2642/03 in 16.12.2003, as well as the corresponding certificate on fulfillment of works and services issued by the State Agenyc of Azerbaijan Republic on Standardization, Metrology and Patent. Presently Azmetco administers practical activity to receive international certificates for labor protection and safety - OHSAS 18001.
To run all kinds of services and works Azmetco owns highly skilled personnel, including the experts with richest work experience in the given sphere and the necessary equipment meeting the modern requirements.
All the Azmetco employees attend regular refresher and retraining courses.
Azmetco's partners are oil and gas producing and oil processing administrations of SOCAR, as well as the SOCAR Pipeline Department, British Petroleum (BP), Shirvan Oil, Salyan Oil, Karasu, AzGerneft, Georgian Pipeline Company, Caspian Drilling Company, Control Techniques etc.
SOCAR is holding the first place among the business partners of Azmetco.
Since the moment Baku-Novorossisk and Baku-Supsa export pipelines were put into operation, Azmetco has been fulfilling repair and adjustment services, metrological calibration of metering systems installed on these pipelines.
Currently Azmetco is attracted as BP/BTC expert within framework of realization of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas line projects on design, calibration and receipt of metering equipment to be applied in these strategic pipelines.
