AZWIRT LLC

AZWIRT Limited Liability Company was created in 1995 by the Baku city Executive Power, AZAL State Enterprise and WIRTGEN International GmbH Federative Republic of Germany. The company's main activity is linked with construction and repair of motorways and airdromes, manufacture and delivery of road-building materials.

AZWIRT LLC possesses extensive production basis: asphalt-concrete plant Lintec (Germany) with production capacity 320 ton/hour, rock breaking and sorting equipment (produced in Austria) with production capacity 160 ton/hour, machinery fleet, including asphalt laying machines, rollers, road harrows and other plants of foreign production, road lab etc.

AZWIRT LLC possesses a professional cadre potential. A part of them attended production refresher courses in FRG.

In 1995/96 AZWIRT LLC fulfilled repair of the 1st landing strip of the Bina airport, as well as manufacture and supply of building materials for oil line pipe concreting under the Chirag-1 project.

In 1995 the firm realized major overhaul of the Baku city streets and roads (a part of the Baku-Airport road, Sona khanum Str. etc.)

In 1998 AZWIRT LLC fulfilled the works under the contract "On construction of the Boing-747 planes directive roads and stands in the Baku Airport" financed by the German government within framework of first aid to the Baku Airport.

In 1999 the firm built high-quality road on the viaduct leading to the new airport building complex, as well as driveways to the complex and higher capacity aircraft (for ex. Boeing-747, IL-76) stand platforms.

In 2000-2003 the firm realized major overhaul of several streets and avenues in the territory of Baku (as well as a part of the Baku-Airport road). In 2002-2003 the firm also built inner roads in the territory of the Sangachal terminal.

The company won the tender on "Restoration of the Shamkir-Gazakh" motorway in consortium with Azerkorpu OJSC. Besides AZWIRT LLC won as well the tender ran by the Baku city Executive Power in 2004 on "major overhaul of roads and streets of the Baku city". A number of Baku streets and avenues have already been overhauled within this tender.

Platform construction works in the H.Aliyev Baku airport keep as well on track successfully.
