AZERKORPU OJSC COMMITTED TO INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

 

The construction market of Azerbaijan is experiencing upturn. The official statistics says its annual growth exceeds 40%. Annual investments in basic capital are growing in average by 15%, including those in non-industrial buildings and structures by 40-50%. According to the forecasts, the similar rates are expected both this and next year. To improve the road infrastructure, bridge and road junction projects are implemented. A special part in these projects plays Azerkorpu open JSC.

 

Azerkorpu is one of Azerbaijan's leading construction organizations. Over the last years Azerkorpu has implemented a lot of significant projects in various spheres of economy:

- construction of bridges at Mil-Mugan Collector (Phase I and II);

- construction of Alat-Gazimammad highway;

- construction of Khanarkh canal (Phase I and II);

- reconstruction of ferry terminal in port of Aktau, the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- design of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline: construction of PSA2 pump station in Yevlakh District and intermediate purification station in Kurdamir District;

- reconstruction of piers ##4 and 5 in Aktau Trade Seaport;

- Shah Deniz Project: reconstruction of ports of Zykh-3 and Zykh-4 in Baku.

- reconstruction and rehabilitation of Shamkir-Gazah highway section;

- construction of a sump at Samur-Absheron canal, Phase 1 and 2.

According to the Decree of President of Azerbaijan «Action Plan for Modernization of Transportation System of Baku», the company is performing the construction of junctions in the capital. Near Azizbekov subway station, on the corner of Z.Bunyatov Street and H.Aliyev Avenue, the work is performed to erect multilevel road junctions. The total length of flyovers is 2.6km and approach roads 3km. according to the plan, the work shall be completed in May 2008.

Using the state-of-the-art process solutions, modern equipment and machines, the company's specialists are spending a very short time erecting bridges and flyovers. Nowadays flyovers from Azerkorpu are combining good engineering knowledge, comfort and safety.

Today, the company's activities run far beyond the borders of Azerbaijan. Extending its geography, Azerkorpu open JSC is implementing projects in Kazakhstan, Turkey and Ukraine and is planning to access markets in Russia.
