    GAZPROM KEEPS ON EXPANSING

Gazprom as an actual monopolist on sales in Europe continues to find opportunities to export gas outside the continent. To keep the Central Asian gas within its transport corridors is the primary task of the monopoly. However, the Caspian states continue searching for alternative export routes to sell gas on acceptable prices. The link Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan-Georgia is the primary one in this chain.
