    “The projects that were started 10 years ago already yield real profits to investors and the state,” President of the National Company KazMunayGaz JSC Uzakbay Karabalin says.

    In 2005 was the Tenth Anniversary of our Constitution. In this connection I would like to specially emphasize that our oil-and-gas sector is developing in full conformity with the strategic priorities determined in the "Kazakhstan-2030" Strategy of Development. As it is specified in the historic message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, one of the long-term priorities in the development of Kazakhstan is the energy resources whose effective utilization - through a rapid increase of output and export of oil and gas with the view to get the revenues promoting a stable economic growth and improvement of the life of people is a strategic task of the nation. And we, following these strategic aims, are making every effort to effectively and intensively develop the oil-and-gas industry of the Republic.

  • SOCAR PLANS DIRECT OIL SALE FROM BTC PIPELINE


    TODAY THE OIL OF AZERBAIJAN REACHED THE SECOND PUMPING STATION IN TURKEY

    The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plants to establish direct sale of its oil to the world market when Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline will be put in operation (May 2006). It is connected with considerable increase in oil production in Azerbaijan. At present the next section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline is being filled with oil at the territory of Turkey.

  • WORLD OIL MARKET IS SUPERSATURATED


    IN THE MAIN SPECULATIONS CAUSE HIGH PRICES ON OIL

    The world market is supersaturated and this surplus amounts to 2 million barrels a day. Edmond Daukoru, the OPEC President told on March 3 in Washington. According to him, the present level of the world prices on oil is not caused by lack of demand on these goods.
