  • BAKU GATHERING OF THE WORLD OIL&GAS COMMUNITY WAS XII


    Oil sector will play the great role in Azerbaijan development many and many years. The oil strategy of Heydar Aliyev is successfully fulfilled along 11 years and the facts show that it was the right choice, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev declared about it during "Caspian Oil & Gas - 2005" international exhibition.

  • THERE WILL BE PRODUCED IN AZERBAIJAN 63 MLN TONS OF OIL IN 2010

    AZERBAIJAN SECTOR OF THE CASPIAN HAS NOT BAD PERSPECTIVES FOR OPENING OF NEW OIL AND GAS FIELDS.

    There will be produced in Azerbaijan 63 mln tons of oil in 2010. 9-10 mln. tons of this will be oil produced from SOCAR's fields, 50 mln. tons will be oil from contract block "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" developing by AIOC and the rest volume will be condensate from "Shah Daniz".

  • EXPORT FROM SHAH DANIZ WILL REACH EUROPE

    "SHAH DENIZ" FIELD DEVELOPMENT II EXPECTED TO PRODUCE 8-12 BN CU.M. NATURAL GAS

    At peak of production Azerbaijan is to produce approximately 60 million tons oil and 20 bn cu.m.natural gas. Currently approximately 10 bn has been invested in oil and gas projects of Azerbaijan. "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" filed produced 40 million tons oil and 8 bn cu.m. natural gas, informed Majid Karimov, minister of energy & industry of Azerbaijan.

  • KAZAKHSTAN'S OIL WILL FLOW VIA BTC PIPELINE


    There is expected the increasing of oil export in 20 mln. tons a year through Aktau-Baku. There will be extended the existent terminals and connected to BTC.

    KASPAR IS GOING TO KEEP ITS LEADERSHIP

    Kaspar is going to keep its leadership in tanker shipments in the Caspian. At the end of 2004 Kaspar received the first two tankers with deadweight 13,000 tons. They are "Babek" and "President Heydar Aliyev" built at shipbuilding plant "Krasnoye Sormovo" (Nizhni Novgorod). These vessels are operated in Baku-Aktau.

  • OPEC CAN ACCEPT THE DECISION ABOUT INCREASING OF OIL QUOTAS

    OIL HIGH PRICES REASON IS WORLD ECONOMY GROWTH

    The participants of meeting of European Union and OPEC representatives think that main reason of oil high prices is the serious growth of world economy. The first meeting OPEC - EU has completed in Brussels in late evening on June 9.
