    The increasing of oil production in the North Caspian demands the expansion of transport infrastructure. The construction of new pipelines did not the problems with Eastern Caspian oil transportation. The matter is the tariff policy of pipelines' companies in transit countries that negatively reflects to cost of their transportation and its competitiveness.

The president of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov has received a delegation of the National joint-stock company "Neftegaz of Ukraine" led by the chairman of government Aleksey Ivchneko, arrived to Ashghabad on behalf of the president of Ukraine of the Victor Yushenko for continuation of negotiation on accounts for delivered of Turkmenistan natural gas and repayments of debts of the Ukrainian party.
