  • GAZPROM TO DISTRIBUTE GAS IN AUSTRIA


  • Gazprom is viewing the opportunity of joining the Nabucco Gas Pipeline Project. Sergey Kupriyanov, the official spokesman of the Russian gas giant Gazprom told journalists. As per him, Gazprom regards the opportunity to join the Nabucco project as the expression of intentions of some countries to provide their territories for Russian gas transit. “However, gas for transportation is not available now”, the rep of Gazprom says. Nevertheless, as per him, the volumes of gas projected for delivery via Nabucco from Turkey to Austria (through the territories of Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary) have not been contracted yet.
