    NATURAL GAS PRICES RISING WILL TOUCH ALL IMPORTERS

    From the beginning of 2006 gas "surprises" expect both the countries possessing this kind of fuel, and its importing. On the one hand the prices are excited at the post Soviet area by the Russian monopolist "Gazprom", on the other the Central Asian manufacturers, including for same "Gazprom". The new manufacturer will join this fierce struggle in 2006 on behalf of Azerbaijan also.

    IF TES CONFIRMATION PUTS ASIDE THEN THE DATES OF CPC's EXPANSION WILL BE POSTPONED A YEAR.

    At the end of October the term set by supporters of CPC's expansion is over. Project considers stage-by-stage expansion of CPC from 28 mln. tons a year to 67 mln. tons a year. The first results of expansion should bring up to 38 mln. tons a year in 2006.

    "LUKOIL" AMBITIONS - TOTALLY 100% OF NELSON RESOURCES SHARES

    "LUKOIL" was not possible to block the transaction on sale of Canadian PetroKazakhstan to Chinese CNPC. However "LUKOIL" has achieved an agreement with the basic shareholders of other Canadian company working in Kazakhstan - Nelson Resources about acquisition of 65% of shares more than per $1 billion, and call option of more than 1.3% having diffused the offer to whole 100% of shares. The total sum of transaction is valued at $2 bn.
