Last week Moscow and Kiev exchanged views as regards the vision on gas cooperation. Russias President Vladimir Putin was well-disposed and promised to shift to market relations with Ukraine in the gas sphere. Ukraines President Victor Yushchenko stated the intention to keep transporting 80% of Russian gas to Europe, but at the same time to create new opportunities for gas export from the Central Asia to the EU.
