BAKU, TBILISI, AND KISHINEV HAVE AGREED TO NEW GAZPROM RATES
The price for the gas delivered from Russia to Azerbaijan will be augmented since January 1, 2006 from $60 to $110 per 1 thousand cube of m. To such agreement send at negotiations in Baku on December 22 quoters of Russian company "Gazprom" and SOCAR. After negotiations this week in Tbilisi PM, Zurab Nogaideli and the vice-president of board "Gazprom", Alexander Ryazanov it became definitively clear, that since new year the price of the Russian gas will grow from 62,5 to 110 dollars per one thousand cubic metre. Thus scopes of supply – from 1,3 to 2,25 bcmy will considerably be augmented. Arrangements at the price of gas are already reached with all states CIS and Baltic except to Ukraine. Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia will receive gas also on 110 dollars, Moldova - on 160 dollars, Belarus will preserve the bet of this year - 46,68 dollars Applicable commercial contracts are partially signed or are in a final stage of registration, or will be signed any day.

AIOC WILL TWICE OIL PRODUCTION IN 2006
President of Azerbaijan and Chief BP Azerbaijan have discussed the perspectives of cooperation. In December 21 the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Chief BP Azerbaijan David Woodward. During meeting chief state has announced that cooperation between Azerbaijan and BP is successfully developed. Mr. Aliyev declared that realization of such kind of global projects like Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Shah Daniz are successfully developed.
